The Bibb County School District is considering more "aggressive" steps to address a growing budget deficit, as leaders say continuing to rely on reserve funds is not sustainable.
Superintendent Dan Sims outlined the district’s financial outlook while speaking to principals at the district’s Professional Learning Center, saying the system is still early in the budgeting process for fiscal year 2027 but facing clear challenges.
