Baldwin County Secures Land and 240K for New Law Enforcement Training Center

The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office has acquired land for a long-sought training facility and secured nearly $240,000 in grant funding to help build it.

The Baldwin County Commission voted to transfer approximately 14.5 acres to the sheriff's office for the training complex. The county purchased the property from the Development Authority of Milledgeville and Baldwin County using Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax funds.
