'Sales Have Definitely Gone Down' | Baldwin County Bridge Delays Hit Local Business Hard

A $20 million bridge reconstruction project in Baldwin County is still underway months after it began, and one business owner right across the street from the bridge, says the delays and disruptions have hurt sales and customer access.
The Mayor Harry G. Bone Bridge over Fishing Creek along Highway 441 is still under construction. The Georgia Department of Transportation started the project in May, saying the more than 77-year-old bridge needed upgrades to improve safety.
