‘One of Only Four in America’ | Macon Ski Technician Preps Team USA For Winter Olympic Halfpipe Competition

While Olympic athletes launch 30 feet into the air above the halfpipe, Hotch Young is hunched over a workbench in a wax cabin, making sure they land safely.
The Macon native moved into the Olympic Village this past weekend as a ski technician for Team USA's freeski halfpipe program. He's one of only four people who hold this specialized position.
