Fort Valley Leaders Accept Gary Lee’s Resignation During Special Meeting

Fort Valley leaders held a special called meeting Tuesday night to accept the resignation of City Administrator Gary Lee.
Two additional items were originally listed on the agenda. One would have authorized Mayor Shakeena Reeves to act as city administrator until a replacement is found. The other was a resolution to appoint Captain Alger Raines as interim police chief of Fort Valley.
