Resin Jewelry & Trinket Tray Workshop
What’s resin all about? Give this trending craft a try at The 567 Center! For this workshop, you will create a pendant, matching earrings and custom trinket dish to hold your jewelry. With the help of Malissa Kelsey of MADE by MK, you’ll create beautiful jewelry by filling a metal bezel with resin and your choice of color pigments or additives. You’ll also be guided step-by-step through mixing and adding colors, pouring the resin, and adding decorative touches to create your trinket dish. This is the ideal workshop for beginners and those who are curious about working with epoxy resin without waste and frustration. $50 includes all materials for 1 pendant (with chain), a matching pair of earrings and a trinket holder. Open to ages 18 & up. February 10, 6:00-8:30 pm.

Though the risks are minimal, by registering for this class, you are assuming the risk of exposure to resin and will not hold The 567 Center or the instructor responsible for any adverse reaction experienced from a resin allergy. Participants will be provided with masks and nitrile gloves.

Storytellers Macon Presents: Love is a Battlefield
Love isn’t always candlelight and soft music — sometimes it’s strategy, stamina, and ducking for cover. Love is a Battlefield is all about the clashes, compromises, victories, and wipeouts that come with caring deeply for someone (or trying to).

Maybe you’ve survived a spectacular breakup, fought for a relationship worth keeping, or navigated the emotional minefields of family, friendships, or dating apps. Maybe you’ve gone to war with your own heart — trying to let someone in, trying to let someone go, or trying to love yourself through a tough season.

From hilarious miscommunication skirmishes to epic battles for your happiness, this topic invites stories that are messy, triumphant, tender, or downright cinematic. Because whether we win, lose, or call a truce, love always changes us — and the stories are unforgettable. Our featured teller is Dr. Athea “Essence” Vanzant.

Signing up before the event is encouraged – https://bit.ly/2026StorytellersPresentsSU

* This is an open-mic event* Stories are limited to 5 minutes per person* Please be mindful of bringing children that stories are uncensored, except for hate speech.
