Macon-Bibb Sets New Rules to Curb Vape Shops Near Schools & Protect Youth Health

Macon-Bibb County's Planning and Zoning Commission approved new regulations Monday that will require future vape shops to be located at least half a mile from schools and other vape shops.
The new rules come as the county's 90-day moratorium on new vape shop openings nears its end. The moratorium was passed in October after planning board members expressed concern about the proliferation of vape shops in the area.
