HunterMaclean Partner Randy Jordan was recently featured on the 200th episode of The Great Trials Podcast, hosted by Steve Lowry of Harris Lowry Manton LLP.
In the episode, Randy discusses his role in Poppell v. McKesson, et al., a landmark opioid case that received national attention. Tried under Georgia’s Drug Dealer Liability Act, the case involved 21 plaintiffs and raised challenging legal and emotional issues. During the hourlong episode, Randy offers a thoughtful look at the defense strategy and what it meant to try a case of this scale.
With over thirty years of experience as a trial attorney, Randy has tried well over one hundred jury cases in state and federal courts throughout the United States. His practice focuses mainly on business litigation pertaining to transportation and logistics and he has defended some of the country’s largest railroads in a wide array of business and tort matters, including the defense of hundreds of asbestos and other toxic exposure claims. He is also a frequent speaker to groups across the country on issues facing the transportation and logistics industries.
