Georgia VECTR Center and Still Serving Veterans Host Open House
Monday, January 26th, 2026
The Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center will hold an open house and partnership showcase featuring Still Serving Veterans (SSV), VECTR’s newest on-site community partner, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at the Center on 1001 Armed Forces Boulevard.
The event will highlight no-cost career transition services available to veterans, service members, and military spouses, including résumé development, military-to-civilian skill translation, interview preparation, and job-search strategy.
Leaders from both organizations will provide remarks on the growing partnership for veterans in support of the Center’s mission. Guided tours will also be available.
Invited partners from Robins AFB Military Family Readiness Center, local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) posts, American Legion, and VA partners will be on hand.
“SSV strengthens VECTR’s mission by providing free, individualized career and transition services on-site and virtually to veterans, students, and military families,” said U. S. Air Force Col. Don Layne, chief operating officer for the Georgia VECTR Center. “Supporting long-term career success and economic stability across Georgia’s military-connected community is our joint objective.”
