United Way of Central Georgia Awarded $5K McDonald’s Golden Grant to Support Local Students

The organization has been selected as one of the 2025 McDonald’s Golden Grant recipients, receiving $5,000 to directly support programs benefiting youth and families in the Macon area.
United Way was one of twelve recipients across South Georgia and North Florida chosen for this year’s grant program, which awards funding based on innovation, community need, and hands-on impact. In total, McDonald’s awarded $45,000 to nonprofits and schools working to strengthen learning opportunities for children.
