A Milledgeville Library Is Moving — and They Need Your Help. Here’s How

The Middle Georgia Regional Library System is asking the Milledgeville community to pitch in Tuesday as it prepares to reopen the renovated Mary Vinson Memorial Library. To help move materials back into the building, the system is organizing a “human book chain” and inviting volunteers to line up from the Hancock Branch across the parking lot to the Mary Vinson location.
The human book chain begins Tuesday at 11 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m. The Mary Vinson Memorial Library is located on South Jefferson Street in downtown Milledgeville.
