Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce Hosts Final Macon & Eggs Program of 2025

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Wednesday, December 10th, 2025

The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce will host its final 2025 Macon & Eggs: Federal Program on Wednesday, December 10, at 8:30 a.m. in the Anderson Dining Room at Wesleyan College, located at 4760 Forsyth Road in Macon. This quarter’s program will feature a focused discussion on “Building a Stronger Economic Union” with Christopher Stallings, Associate Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Hosted quarterly, the Macon & Eggs Program is a vital part of the Chamber’s year-round advocacy efforts. Through these types of advocacy programs, the chamber hopes to foster open dialogue between policymakers, business leaders, and engaged citizens, ensuring that the perspectives of Macon’s employers are heard where decisions are made. Macon & Eggs provides an essential forum for examining legislative updates, public policy issues, military affairs, education, and community priorities, keeping attendees informed, connected, and equipped to lead on the issues shaping the region’s economic future.

Christopher Stallings serves as the Associate Administrator of the SBA’s Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience. In this role, he directs national efforts to support small businesses, homeowners, renters, and communities recovering from disasters. His leadership focuses on improving disaster loan processing, enhancing customer service, and strengthening coordination among federal, state, and local partners to ensure a swift and effective response.

The conversation will be moderated by Chrissy Miner, Principal of the Miner Agency and Chair of the Chamber’s Government and Military Affairs Committee. Stallings will address topics most relevant to small businesses, including federal opportunities, SBA updates, disaster recovery and resilience priorities for 2025, and best practices for collaboration with state and local partners.

“In a year marked by both opportunity and uncertainty, access to clear information and strong federal partnerships is essential for our small businesses. We appreciate Christopher Stallings joining us to share how the SBA is strengthening disaster recovery, resilience, and support for employers.”

The Chamber is grateful for the support of its Presenting Sponsor, Prince Service & Manufacturing, and its Program Sponsors: Cadence Bank, the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, and Terracon. Their partnership makes this Program possible and strengthens the Chamber’s work on behalf of the region’s business community.
