Christmas Tree Luminary Workshop
Learn how to make your own ceramic luminaries shaped like Christmas trees! No experience necessary. Kristin Streilein will make it easy. $50 includes all materials ($40 for members). Luminaries will be fired in the kiln, glazed by the instructor, and available for pick up 2 weeks later or shipped for an additional fee. December 10, 6:30-8:30 pm.

Resin Ornaments Workshop
Looking for a unique way to trim the tree this holiday season? Skip the store-bought ornaments and get creative with us at our hands-on ornament workshop! Malissa Kelsey of MADE by MK will guide you step-by-step in designing and creating a set of six beautiful hanging ornaments. From glitter and pigments to holiday-themed molds, you’ll have a range of options to make each piece uniquely yours. Feel free to bring some small personal elements to add more sentiment to your creations.

Beginners welcome–no previous resin experience needed! Your ornaments will be ready to pick up the next day after curing overnight. $40 includes all materials, supplies, protective equipment and live instruction ($34 for 567 members). Open to ages 14 & up. Thursday, December 11, 6:00-8:30 pm.

The Morning Music Club Christmas Chorale
The Morning Music Club invites you to our annual Christmas Chorale for a morning of seasonal music.

The community is invited to our annual Christmas Chorale. Come enjoy our Chorale choir sing songs of the season–you will surely leave with the Christmas spirit in your heart!

Dr. Jane Kimbrel will conduct our Chorale with accompaniment by Dr. Carol Goff.

All are invited as a gift to the community from The Morning Music Club.

Corks & Canvas with Oils
Learn to create an 11 x 14 oil painting in a fun, relaxed setting. No painting or drawing experience required–choose from a blank canvas or a pre-sketched canvas. Bring a beverage of your choice to sip on while you paint. The cost is $40, and includes all art supplies. The workshop starts at 7 pm and lasts two and a half hours. On December 12, Rachel Harrelson will teach a painting of a Christmas star.

Chelcie Lynn: Trailer Trash Tammy Presents The Loose Lips Tour
Chelcie Lynn is bringing her Trailer Trash Tammy Loose Lips Tour to Capitol Theatre in Macon, GA on Friday, December 12.

Chelcie Lynn is a comedian, actress, and internet personality extraordinaire. Since creating her alter-ego of Trailer Trash Tammy in 2014, her videos have gained hundreds of millions of views across the internet, both as Chelcie Lynn and Tammy. She was honored as one of Variety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch in 2021 and has continued her rise ever since. Chelcie’s hugely successful comedy touring career began with her sold-out inaugural stand-up tour, The Tammy Tour: One Trailer Park At A Time. She hosted the Tailgates & Tallboys festival in 2022 + 2023 and appeared at Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival. Chelcie also hosted a sold-out Trailer Trash Tammy-themed cruise in the spring of2024, becoming the first comedian to ever film a comedy special on a cruise ship. The special, TAMMY’S PONTOON PARTY, debuted to rave reviews and is approaching the 1 million viewmark.

Chelcie co-hosts THE VIRAL PODCAST with her good friend Paige Ginn, aka “That Girl Who Fake Falls”. Macon Film Guild Presents: "Blue Moon"
On the evening of March 31, 1943, legendary lyricist Lorenz Hart confronts his shattered self-confidence in Sardi’s bar as his former collaborator Richard Rodgers celebrates the opening night of his ground-breaking hit musical “Oklahoma!”.

“…You know how in marriage they say “for better or for worse”? I think, in terms of my life, I have entered the “for worse” part, and it happened so quietly I didn’t even recognize it.” Richard Linklater’s Blue Moon tells the story of legendary lyricist Lorenz Hart facing the future as his professional and private life unravel at the opening night party for his former partner’s hit show Oklahoma! By the time this night is over, Hart will have confronted both a world that no longer values his talent and the seeming impossibility of love.
