Walk 'n' Talk: Santa Paws Stroll with Meals on Wheels
Join Bike Walk Macon for a Walk ‘n’ Talk! This monthly walking series is an opportunity to connect and chat while getting some fresh air and gentle exercise.

TOPIC: Santa Paws Walk with Meals on Wheels
LOCATION: Rosa Parks Square | December 16 | 6:00 PM
ABOUT: Join Bike Walk Macon and Meals on Wheels for a festive, pet-friendly walk through Macon Christmas Light Extravaganza! Bring your pup and a bag of pet food to donate to Meals on Wheels’ Pet Food Pantry, helping local seniors and those in need care for their furry companions. Enjoy a relaxed, 2-mile stroll with our pups, taking in the holiday lights and learning more about Meals on Wheels’ work in the community.

More Details – This one-hour, easy-pace group walk meets on the third Tuesday of each month (March to June and September to December) at 6:00 PM. Each month, we’ll feature a guest guide and a special topic to discuss as we explore the streets of Macon.
Participants should be able to walk 3 miles non-stop. Wear appropriate fitness gear and bring water. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.

Before each walk, we’ll do some light stretching as Bike Walk Macon’s Education Instructor shares pedestrian safety information and smart walking tips.

Watercolor & Wine
Learn to create a 9 x 12 holiday watercolor painting in a fun, relaxed setting. No painting or drawing experience required. Bring a beverage of your choice to sip on while you paint. Artist Jenn Morris will help you gain confidence in watercolor with a quick practice painting, then guide you through the steps to paint ornaments. $30 includes all materials for the workshop ($25 for members of The 567). December 17, 7:00-9:00 pm.

About the Instructor
Jenn Morris has loved arts and crafts her entire life and learned painting basics from her artist grandfather at a very young age. While her grandfather specialized in oil painting, Jenn’s favorite medium is watercolor. She has been practicing for several years and enjoys sharing it with others.

Paint & Sip
Learn to create a watercolor painting in a fun, relaxed setting. No painting experience required. Bring a beverage of your choice to sip on while you paint. Award-winning artist, Scott Serafy, will guide you through the steps to paint one of various subjects (florals, cityscapes, landscapes, still lifes). We’ve had great times over the last sixteen months of classes. One participant said, “We had a blast! Thank you for an amazing evening!”

December’s subject will be a Santa in the style of the picture above. $30 includes all materials for the class. The workshop starts at 7pm and goes for 2 hours. There are 10 spots available for the class.
