More students than ever before attended Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) this fall, enrollment records have become a consistent and recurring trend as CGTC has led the state in enrollment amongst 2-year institutions over the last four years. CGTC’s enrollment of over 12,700 students grew 10 percent higher than last year’s enrollment. 

“Students and their families consider CGTC an affordable, high-quality, higher education option, because of its expansive programs, outstanding faculty, and dedicated staff.,” said CGTC Executive Vice President Jeff Scruggs, “For the 12th year in a row, CGTC leads the state in the total number of graduates in high-demand career fields such as precision manufacturing, engineering technology, aviation, and cybersecurity. No matter the program of study, more than 99% of CGTC graduates are either employed, enlisted in the military, or enrolled in another higher education institution.”
