Nichiha To Close Central Georgia, Causing Uncertainties For At Least 100 Jobs

Nichiha, a building materials manufacturer, is shutting down one of its plants in Central Georgia.
The company announced on Tuesday it will close "Plant One" at its facility in South Bibb County, where it has produced wall panels for homes since 2008. Some operations will continue at “Plant Two,” which focuses on products for commercial buildings.
