Happy Hour Service Center Receives $25K Grant To Expand Recycling Efforts

The Happy Hour Service Center received a $25,000 grant from Made to be Remade Georgia, a statewide sustainability initiative led by the Georgia Beverage Association.
The funding will go toward purchasing a new multipurpose baler, equipment that will allow the center to process recyclable materials more efficiently by compacting them into transport-ready bales. The new machinery will also serve as a hands-on training tool for adults with developmental disabilities, helping them develop valuable workforce skills in materials handling and recycling operations.
