A new glamping site featuring four glass-walled cabins and a geodome is under construction in East Bibb County, with developers hoping to open by early 2026.
Joshua Flournoy and his wife received county approval in 2024 for the site at 5680 Ocmulgee East Boulevard. The development combines camping with amenities like plumbing, kitchenettes and climate control — a trend known as "glamping," short for glamorous camping.
