The Macon-Bibb County Fire Department is teeing up for a great cause and inviting golfers, sponsors, and community members to join its annual MDA Golf Tournament, benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

The tournament will take place on Friday, October 17, at Bowden Golf Course (3111 Millerfield Rd.) with check-in starting at 7:30 a.m. and tee time at 8:30 a.m. The event is a four-person scramble, making it a fun and competitive outing for golfers of all skill levels.

“This is one of our favorite ways to give back each year,” said Fire Chief Shane Edwards. “Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting individuals and families impacted by muscular dystrophy, and we’re proud to continue that mission both on and off the field.”
