Spirit Airlines Cancels Service to Macon Before it Even Started, Airline Confirms

Less than a month after announcing service at Macon's Middle Georgia Regional Airport, Spirit Airlines says they will not fly out of Macon after all.
This comes after the company announced bankruptcy last week. Before the recent bankruptcy, the company said in a quarterly report released in August that they had "substantial doubt" about the airline's ability to continue operating.
