There’s a new opportunity for Macon tourists to soak up the city’s rich music history. The Southern Rock Mansion, the former home of legendary guitarist Duane Allman, is now a short-term vacation rental.
Ed Hubbard, owner of the Southern Rock Mansion, says he and his wife Angie are longtime fans of The Allman Brothers Band. The couple bought the home, located at 1125 Bond Street, last summer after falling in love with Macon.
