Colony Bank is honored to share that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has issued an official commendation recognizing its 50th anniversary. The commendation celebrates five decades of dedicated service to customers, commitment to strengthening Georgia communities, and support for local businesses and economic growth.

Since its founding in 1975, Colony Bank has remained focused on delivering the banking solutions that families and small businesses need to move forward. The commendation acknowledges the bank’s role in expanding access to financial services, fostering community development, and investing in the people and places it serves.

The official commendation was presented to Colony Bank’s executive team and board of directors in August at the Georgia State Capitol.

“This commendation is a reminder of how far Colony Bank has come and the important role community banks continue to play in our nation,” said Heath Fountain, CEO of Colony Bank. “We are humbled by this recognition and remain committed to serving with the same focus and integrity that has guided the past 50 years.”
