'Absolutely Unprecedented' | Dublin City Schools Requesting $1.5M State Advance To Meet Monthly Payroll

Dublin City Schools says they need help - nearly one and a half million dollars worth - to make this month's payroll, according to records received from the Georgia Department of Education.
The records show that Dublin City Schools asked the state Department of Education for an advance on state aid coming their way. State Superintendent Richard Woods' response called the request ‘absolutely unprecedented.’
