New Year, New Space: Fort Valley Middle School Starts Fresh with $8 Million Renovation

Peach County Schools is kicking off the new academic year with a fresh start at Fort Valley Middle School, where students and staff returned to a completely renovated campus after more than three decades of wear and tear.
The school, originally built in the early 1990s, had begun to show serious signs of aging, prompting a major investment from the district. Principal Kizzy Johnson, now in her third year at the school, said the building had simply fallen behind the needs of modern learning.
