'Josh's House' Rises in Macon as a Tribute to Community Leader

Construction is underway on Feb Avenue as volunteers work to build "Josh's House," a Habitat for Humanity home honoring the legacy of Josh Rogers, a prominent Macon community leader who died suddenly in November at 42.
Rogers served as president and CEO of NewTown Macon and was a Mercer University alumnus known for his passion for historic preservation and community revitalization. His unexpected death left a void in Macon's development community, but his friends and family are ensuring his vision lives on through affordable housing.
