Cyberattack Leaves Central Georgia SNAP Recipients Locked Out of Aid

Two weeks after a cyberattack shut down Georgia's SNAP benefits call center, some recipients across Central Georgia said they remain locked out of their accounts and are unable to access food assistance.

The Georgia Department of Human Services instructed cardholders to lock their EBT cards following the security breach, but some beneficiaries now report they cannot unlock their cards or reach customer service for help.
