Nearly one year ago, Warner Robins city leaders passed a blight tax ordinance aimed at cleaning up vacant homes and neglected properties that have become eyesores across the community.
The ordinance targets property owners by imposing an additional tax up to 10 mills on vacant, unsafe, or rundown properties if owners do not take steps to fix the issues.
