Houston County Launches New Houston Alerts Emergency Notification System

Houston County Emergency Management has launched Houston Alerts, a new emergency notification system aimed at keeping residents and visitors informed during critical situations.
The free service replaces the county’s previous CodeRED alert system, which will be deactivated on July 22, 2025. Residents who were previously signed up for CodeRED will not be automatically transferred to Houston Alerts and must register for the new platform.
