"Art of Sound"
Macon Art Alliance’s July exhibit, “Art of Sound”, celebrates the importance of music, particularly within the Macon community. Featuring works from 10 local artists, this exhibition is in honor of Macon’s biggest music event, Bragg Jam, and has been certified a Bragg Jam sanctioned event. Come check “Art of Sound” out from July 16 to July 25!

Sgraffito on the Wheel
In this 3-week class, you’ll make cups and/or bowls on the pottery wheel, and then decorate them using a fun technique called sgraffito. Sgraffito involves carving a design of your choice into clay, and it’s easier than it looks! You’ll choose you own colors and designs to create pieces you love. The cost is $95 for non-members, $80 for members, and includes all materials. Meets Mondays starting July 21, 6:30-8:30 pm. You must come back during a Clay Studio Night to finish glazing your pieces.

Macon Film Guild & Fall Line Brewery Present: "Honeyland" Documentary
Oscar-nominated for both Best Documentary Feature and Best International Feature Film, “Honeyland” focuses on a middle-aged woman living with her ailing mother in a small village. Her source of income comes from the bees she cultivates and the honey they produce. All this changes with the arrival of a raucous family who move in next door.

Happy Hour sponsored by Fall Line Brewery starts at 6:30 and features bee-keeper Joe Money of Money’s Honey. Free samples of Money’s Honey will be available during the happy hour, plus their honey will be available for sale.

Ceramic Gnome Workshop
Learn how to make your own ceramic gnome! After you get the basic shape down, have fun personalizing the gnome to make it uniquely yours. As you work, you will learn various handbuilding techniques with clay. No experience necessary for this beginner-friendly class. Kristin Streilein will teach this workshop. $45 includes all materials to make 1-2 gnomes ($35 for members). Open to ages 12 and up (ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult). July 23, 6:30-8:30 pm.

Creations will not be glazed (painted) during this class, but you can come back during our Clay Studio Night in June to glaze your creations in your choice of colors (registration for Clay Studio Night required). Clay Studio Night usually happens on the 2nd & 4th Friday of each month. Fee for workshop includes glazing during Clay Studio Night.
