Catholic private school, Mount de Sales Academy, located in Macon, Georgia, is proud to recognize six members of its Class of 2025 who have achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America. With a graduating class of 77 students, this accomplishment represents an exceptional concentration of student leadership, service, and commitment.

This year marks a remarkable milestone for Mount de Sales, as it is highly uncommon for such a large percentage of a senior class to complete the rigorous requirements of the Eagle Scout rank. The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Each student designed and led a unique service project that contributed to meaningful improvements in their communities, demonstrating core values of the Scouting program, such as helpfulness, kindness, and loyalty.

Each Eagle Scout Service Project required significant planning, coordination, and leadership, often involving many volunteers and hundreds of service hours. From improving public spaces to supporting local organizations, these projects leave a lasting legacy on the community and serve as a testament to the strength of character of these students. Garrett L. Williams, Scout Executive/CEO – Central Georgia Council, Scouting America, shared his thoughts on their achievements: “We are incredibly proud of Brett Beebe, Charlie Clark, Stephen Leach, Aiden Panek, Carter Sparks, and Cooper Zimmerman for achieving the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to serve reflects the very best of Scouting and sets a powerful example for their peers. As they move forward beyond high school, they do so as role models, equipped with the values and character that will continue to make a lasting, lifetime impact in their communities and beyond.”
