The City of Perry is exploring its first-ever redevelopment district to address what they describe as “declining conditions” along the Sam Nunn Boulevard commercial corridor off of Interstate 75.
City Manager Lee Gilmour said the city council has approved the concept for a redevelopment district, though officials are still determining what type of financial instruments might be needed.
