Military Matters: Helping Keep Veterans Alive With Horse Therapy In Georgia

- Every other day, on average, Georgia loses a veteran to suicide. It leaves 7,000 vets dead nationally each year. To help with those dark and lonely thoughts, some fellow vets are helping with horses through their non-profit.
“We have had a lot of steps to get to where we are standing at today, but the goal always was to work with veterans, to reduce veteran suicide.,” Mike Pinatiello of Valor Equine Rescue said.
