Macon-Bibb County Fire Department Holds Promotion Ceremony

The Macon–Bibb County Fire Department held a promotion ceremony Friday, for 28 of its firefighters.
Three firefighters were promoted to Captain, six were promoted to Lieutenant, and 19 to Sergeant. Fire Chief Shane Edwards says this group of firemen and women have committed their lives to the job and community.
