Bibb Leaders to Vote on $219.8M Budget Plan, Prioritizing Public Safety

Macon-Bibb leaders are considering ways to spend a proposed $219.8 million Fiscal Year 2026 budget ahead of a final vote on June 17.
Mayor Lester Miller unveiled the initial plan at a commission meeting two weeks ago. He plans to increase funding across all departments, while keeping the millage rate at 9.9 mills.
