Middle Georgia State University Softball Wins SSAC Tournament Championship – Extends Win Streak to 27

Middle Georgia State University (MGA) Softball has claimed the 2025 Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Tournament Championship title after an undefeated 4-0 run through the tournament. The Knights' impressive performance marks their 27th consecutive victory, a remarkable achievement reflecting their skill, perseverance, and team unity.
Head Coach Randi Wimpy was named SSAC Coach of the Year after leading the Knights to one of the most successful seasons in program history, finishing with a 34-8 overall record and an astonishing 25-1 conference record.
The championship win underscores a dominant season and sets the stage for what's next: the NAIA postseason. MGA will learn their tournament destination during the NAIA selection show scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m.
