Last month, Macon-Bibb County District 2 Commissioner Paul Bronson was elected to serve as the Consolidated Government Representative on the 2025 – 2026 Board of Managers for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG). Bronson was sworn in by Rodney Bullard, CEO of The Same House, during the Installation and Awards Luncheon at this year’s ACCG Annual Conference in Chatham County.

“We are excited to welcome our newly installed Board of Managers, a group of dedicated leaders chosen by their peers to guide our organization,” said Executive Director Dave Wills. “Their commitment and expertise will be invaluable as we work together to advance the interests of Georgia counties.”

As the Consolidated Government Representative, Bronson will work alongside other board members to lead the Association and guide policies during the next year.

“Having been elected to serve on the ACCG Board of Managers, as the Representative for Consolidated Governments is a true privilege,” said Commissioner Bronson. “I’m beyond humbled to represent not only Macon-Bibb as the first to hold such position, but to serve and support the other seven Consolidated Governments, their elected officials, and families. I look forward to working with ACCG in our fight to Advance Georgia’s counties!”
