Amerson Water Treatment Plant Earns Seventh Consecutive Platinum Award

The Frank C. Amerson Jr. Water Treatment Plant has been honored with the Platinum Award from the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) for the seventh year in a row.
According to a news release from MWA, the Platinum Award is presented to water treatment facilities that maintain 100% compliance with all state and federal drinking water regulations for at least five consecutive years. The Amerson Plant, operated by the Macon Water Authority (MWA), continues to rank among the top-performing facilities in the state.
