Smoke Seen Billowing From Jim Shaw's Restaurant, Prompting Swift Evacuation

Crews from the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department responded to a fire at Jim Shaw’s restaurant on Vineville Ave., after customers and staff evacuated Saturday night.
Social media posts appeared to show smoke billowing from an area closest to the kitchen near the backside of the restaurant. However, video captured the damage appearing to be contained within a storage area of the restaurant.
