SA Recycling Swainsboro Donates $1000 to Swainsboro Shrine Club

SA Recycling Swainsboro, one of seven metal recycling facilities in Southeast Georgia, presented a $1000 donation to the Swainsboro Shrine Club on Thursday, March 20th.
“A part of our company core values is to have strong relationships in the communities that we operate in. Located less than three miles from our Hwy 56 yard is the Swainsboro Shrine Club. Reaching out, I learned that the local Shriners helped build a ramp for a handicap patient, did cook outs for a local nursing home and financed expenses for a local Shriners child. When I found that my cousin Joey Crapps was heavily involved in the Shriners, I jumped at the chance to support the guys that do such for our community,” shared SA Recycling Swainsboro General Manager Tori Claeys.
Swainsboro Shrine Club Past President Johnny Mills commented, “Having a community partner like SA Recycling donate allows us to support our local children’s hospital and help anyone in need, whether it’s a wheelchair or food fundraiser. All the money we raise goes toward taking care of the financial burden of Shriner’s Children regardless of their ability to pay or insurance status. We want to be a service to our children and this can only be accomplished through people like Tori and her SA Recycling team.”
SA Recycling’s Swainsboro Georgia yard is committed to environmental sustainability, protecting our planet's resources and to being a good neighbor to Emanuel County. From providing local jobs to sponsoring community-based programs that help to ensure the health and well-being of our employees and the surrounding neighborhoods, SA Recycling is dedicated to improving the lives of everyone they serve.
