Robins Financial Credit Union broke ground on a new branch located at 1019 Indian Drive, Eastman, Georgia on Tuesday, March 11. 

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by credit union executives, local officials, and community members, celebrating the beginning of a project that will bring new opportunities and growth to the area.

“We chose Eastman because we listened to our members,” said Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial Credit Union. “We saw the need for a dedicated branch here, and we understand the importance of having convenient, local banking options that support both individuals and businesses.”

Among the attendees, representatives from the Eastman-Dodge Area Chamber of Commerce expressed their enthusiasm for the project and its impact on the local area.

“I would like to welcome Robins Financial Credit Union to our community,” shared Paula McCain, President and CEO of the Eastman-Dodge County Area Chamber of Commerce. “Eastman-Dodge county is the ideal location for businesses to thrive, and we are delighted that they have chosen to invest in our town by opening a new branch here. This presence will undoubtedly enhance our community, and we look forward to a successful partnership with Robins Financial Credit Union.”

Beyond banking, Robins Financial is committed to being an active community partner supporting local initiatives, working with businesses, and contributing to Eastman’s economic growth. In 2024, the credit union donated one million dollars to the communities it serves, and its team members dedicated more than 1800 volunteer hours to local non-profits and initiatives in its 45-county coverage area.
