Warner Robins’ Job Market Climbs to 83,900 as Unemployment Drops to 3.0%

The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday that Warner Robins recorded an unemployment rate of 3.0 percent in December, down two-tenths of a percent over-the-month. A year ago, the rate was 2.6 percent.

The labor force in Warner Robins decreased by 376 over-the-month and ended December with 88,608. That number increased by 1,779 when compared to December of 2023.

Warner Robins finished the month with 85,955 employed residents. That number decreased by 149 over-the-month and rose by 1,413 compared to the same time last year.

Warner Robins ended December with 83,900 jobs, up 200 over-the-month and up 2,000 compared to this time last year.

In December, initial unemployment claims increased by 25 over-the-month and were up by 33 compared to the same month last year, totaling 280.
