Warner Robins Sees Slight Uptick in November Unemployment

The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday that Warner Robins recorded an unemployment rate of 3.2 percent in November, up one-tenth of a percent over-the-month. A year ago, the rate was 2.6 percent.

The labor force decreased in Warner Robins by 701 and ended the month with 89,018. That number went up by 1,884 when compared to November of 2023.

Warner Robins finished the month with 86,135 employed residents. That number decreased by 758 over-the-month and went up by 1,241 when compared to the same time a year ago.

Warner Robins ended November with 83,800 jobs. That number went down by 300 over-the-month and went up by 2,000 when compared to this time last year.

In November, initial unemployment claims decreased by 30 in Warner Robins. When you compare November 2024 claims to November 2023, claims were down by 4, totaling 255.
