Peach County Commissioners Hoping to Enact Local Homestead Exemption

Tuesday, Peach County commissioners passed a resolution asking their legislative delegation to support a proposed special homestead exemption.
If signed off by both chambers of the general assembly, Post 1 Commissioner Roy Lewis said qualified homeowners could exempt up to 25% of their property value, adding the tax break will bring homeowners relief.
