A new chapter is unfolding in Houston County as Sheriff Matt Moulton takes the seat of his predecessor, the legendary Cullen Talton, who served as our nation's longest-serving sheriff until his passing in October.
This marks the first time in 52 years that the position has seen a change in leadership, after Chief Deputy Billy Rape filled in Talton's role to complete the rest of his term.
