Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin Sleep Center has received a five-year reaccreditation

from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

The reaccreditation covers all types of sleep testing offered at Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin, including in-center

polysomnography, multiple sleep latency testing, maintenance of wakefulness testing, and home sleep apnea testing.

Since 1977, AASM’s standards for accreditation have been the gold standard by which the medical community and the

public evaluate sleep medicine facilities. Achieving AASM accreditation demonstrates a health care provider’s

commitment to high quality and patient-centered care.

“As an AASM accredited health care facility, Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin not only demonstrates excellence in health

care, but we’re also working to raise awareness of a good night’s sleep as an important element for a person’s health and

American Academy of Sleep Medicine for reaccreditation and to all our teammates who work tirelessly to elevate health in

Milledgeville and the Lake Oconee region.”
