Dr. Brett Wallace Named Principal of Warner Robins High School

Dr. Brett Wallace was named the Principal of Warner Robins High School during the Houston County Board of Education meeting held December 9, 2024. Wallace is currently the principal of Warner Robins Middle School. He will begin this new role on January 2, 2025, after the retirement of current Principal Chris McCook at the end of December.

 “I am honored, humbled and excited to be named the next principal of Warner Robins High School. I would like to thank Dr. Scott, Dr. Rogers, the Board of Education, and our Executive Cabinet for this opportunity,” said Wallace. “As a former Demon, this is a homecoming for me, and I’m excited to work for these students and this community. Warner Robins High is truly a special place with a long tradition of success, and I look forward to rejoining the Demon Family.”

Prior to working for the Houston County School District, Wallace was a teacher and coach in Troup and Bibb counties. He served as an administrator at Warner Robins High School before being selected as Principal at Warner Robins Middle in 2012.

Wallace earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Jacksonville State University and a master’s degree from Georgia College and State University. He received an Education Specialist degree, as well as his Doctor of Education from Columbus State University. He is married to Dr. Tonya Wallace, Assistant Principal at the Houston College & Career Academy. They have four children – Daniel, Reed, Shelby and Maggie, who is a teacher at Perry Middle School.
