Rhythm & Rally Sports & Events is excited to be partnering with Macon-Bibb County Fire Department to announce Blazing Paddles: A Firefighter Pickleball Tournament, a one-of-a-kind event celebrating our local heroes while bringing the community together for a day of friendly competition, fun activities, and family engagement. Join us on November 9 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM to watch Macon-Bibb-based firefighter teams compete in a double-elimination pickleball tournament. This event offers everyone in the community a chance to connect, show support, and enjoy a lineup of engaging activities for all ages!  This family-friendly event is free to spectators with the donation of a non-perishable food item.

Blazing Paddles is about more than a competition—it’s a way to support and give back to the local heroes who dedicate their lives to the Macon-Bibb community,” said John Roberts, General Manager at Rhythm & Rally. “We’ve been partnering with the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department since we opened to offer pickleball as a fun, engaging option for firefighter physical training. It’s been a rewarding connection, and this tournament is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the skills they’ve developed.

Event Highlights Include:

Pickleball Showdown: Watch 8 teams of Macon-Bibb firefighters battle it out on the court for bragging rights & prizes in an action-packed tournament.

Fire Truck & Mustang on Display: Kids and families can explore a real fire truck up close and take memorable photos with both the truck and Mustang.

Junior Firefighters in Training Station: This interactive area offers kids the chance to color, learn essential fire safety tips, and earn their very own Junior Firefighter hat and badge. Sergeant Rembert will be on hand to discuss fire safety basics.

Try on Real Firefighter Gear: Attendees can experience what it’s like to suit up like a firefighter—a great opportunity for all ages to get a feel for a firefighter’s life.

Free Intro Pickleball Class: Rhythm & Rally will host two free introductory pickleball class for attendees who bring a non-perishable food item donation at 10:30 & 11:30 am.

Support a Cause: All attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate, helping provide for local families in need during the holiday season.
