Dr. Amy Fouse from the Houston County School District Wins Distinguished Service Award

Dr. Amy Fouse, Coordinator of English Language Arts and World Languages for the Houston County School District, was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for Supervision of Instruction from the Georgia Association of Curriculum and Instructional Supervisors. The Distinguished Service Award is presented to a supervisor in Georgia public education who has made significant contributions to the field of instruction.
Fouse has served in several roles on the board of the Georgia Association of Curriculum and Instructional Supervisors. She was recognized for her unwavering commitment to excellence, her passion for education, and her significant contributions to literacy education across the state.
Fouse said, “It is truly an honor to receive this recognition from an organization that has been such an important part of my learning and growth as an educational leader. I am blessed to work with outstanding leaders in our District and will continue to be a strong advocate for quality educational resources for our students and teachers.”
Fouse is a proud graduate of the Houston County School District and has served families of Houston County for 24 years, becoming Coordinator of English Language Arts and World Languages in 2006.
