Flint Energies Foundation grant funds Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Georgia
Flint Energies Foundation has granted $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Georgia, supporting daily operations and program materials for clubs in Macon Bibb and Houston County.

Joseph Matchett, Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Georgia representative stated, “The Boys and Girls Club of Central Georgia aims to help youth and teens develop healthy habits through programs that promote staying active with enjoyable activities. These programs also educate the boys and girls on nutrition and healthy relationships.

This foundation provides funding to local non-profits like BGCCG, drawing from contributions made by Flint Energies Consumer-members through Operation Round Up®. Annually, members of the electric cooperative donate $175,000 to the Flint Energies Foundation, aiding worthy causes across the 17 counties it serves. Through Operation Round Up, participating members can support various charitable organizations by allowing Flint Energies to round their bills to the nearest dollar. On average, contributions to Operation Round Up are about $6 per member each year and are tax-deductible.

We are truly grateful for Flint Energies' continued support.
