The Living Waters' Ministry Announces the Launch of The House of Hope Initiative
Monday, October 7th, 2024
Saturday, The Living Waters' Ministry celebrates the official opening ceremony of The House of Hope, a sanctuary designed to provide shelter, support, and spiritual healing for at-risk youth in Warner Robins, GA. The home’s opening marks a significant milestone in the ministry’s ongoing efforts in Houston County, achieved in partnership with Evergreen Family Fellowship.
The House of Hope is built on the mission of fostering change through faith, mentorship, and individualized care and promises to be a beacon of restoration in the Warner Robins community. Since their return to Warner Robins in 2020, founders Liz Miller and Julie Balducci have been committed to helping women and children overcome various forms of brokenness through their work with The Living Waters’ Ministry. Their collaborative partnerships with local churches and organizations have paved the way for long-term housing, mentorship programs, trauma healing initiatives, and much more for residents of the community.
“We are blessed by the community’s response and support of our vision,” said co-founder Liz Miller. “Through prayer and partnership, we know that this home will be a place where lives are transformed, families are restored, and God’s love is experienced firsthand.”
Nestled within the serene setting of The House of Hope, The Living Waters' Ministry has fostered an environment of love where children can sit at the feet of Jesus and grow as "Righteous Oaks," rooted in faith for God’s glory and Kingdom purposes. One of the ministry’s program graduates has been promoted to help oversee daily operations and mentorship for the initiative.
The House of Hope team lead, Savannah Raborn, describes the home as a place of hope and renewal. "It’s a privilege to now lead and mentor others, just as I was guided through my own journey of healing. This home is a testament to God’s grace, and I am honored to help others discover the same freedom and restoration that I experienced."
“We are deeply committed to serving these women and children with love, compassion, and the grace of God,” said co-founder and Director Julie Balducci. “It’s our mission to provide them with a place where healing and transformation can occur. We look forward to witnessing how God continues to work through this ministry, bringing life-changing support and hope to those who need it most.”
With the mission of supporting the community and investing in the lives of children, The Living Waters' Ministry is calling on local businesses, churches, and individuals to join them in supporting The House of Hope’s continual operation. Partnership blesses those directly impacted by this ministry and sows seeds of faith and healing into the broader community.
